The story of Seemas began in 1973 in Perumbavoor, Kerala. Built on a simple, powerful belief that quality clothing should be accessible to everyone, the business quickly earned a reputation for honest dealings, dependable quality, and fair pricing.
At a time when textile sourcing networks were limited, Seemas developed direct sourcing relationships with India's most prominent textile hubs, including Bangalore, Varanasi, Surat, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi. This direct sourcing connection bypasses middlemen, enabling us to deliver premium fabrics directly to Kerala families at highly competitive prices.
Following the founder's stewardship in the 1980s, his five sons—Abdul Jalal, Kunjumohammed, Aliyar, Sudheer, and Shemeer—carried forward the legacy. In 2013, the business reorganized into five independent partnership firms operating under the unified brand, collectively contributing to the reputation of Kerala's trusted fashion retail destination.
Today, Seemas spans 10 showrooms across Kerala, serving over 1 million families annually with a dedicated workforce of over 1000 employees.
